hi, welcome to ýðlic.

ythelic.com

about me quizzes writings etc.

The name for this site is derived from Old English. It's a combination of the word yð, meaning "wave" or "billow", and the suffix -lic, meaning "like".

My original plan for this site's design was to have William Faulkner's "Absalom, Absalom!" typed out in the background, but that would conflict with copyright laws, so I've settled for my favorite line from Virginia Woolf's To the Lighthouse." typed out in different languages I've tried to learn.
